Spaghetti With Chilli, Garlic, Basil And Olive Oil

100g spaghetti
2 garlic cloves, sliced
olive oil
1 red chilli, deseeded and chopped
pinch finely chopped basil
salt and pepper
Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water till al dente.  
While the pasta is cooking place a pan over low heat, saute the garlic in a glug of olive oil until golden but not browned. Add the chillies and a couple of spoons of cooking liquid from the pasta.
Once cooked add the spaghetti and season with the chopped basil, salt and pepper. Toss so that the spaghetti is coated in the olive oil mixture and everything is well combined. Serve immediately with grated Parmesan.
