Butter And Sage Sauce

This is probably one of my favourite sauces for pasta or gnocchi. It takes minutes to make and tastes so good.

100g butter
4 sage leaves
2tbsp cooking water
4tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated

When your pasta or gnocchi is nearly cooked, place your butter and sage leaves in a pan and cook gently over a medium heat until the butter begins to bubble. Then add a couple to tbsp of the water in which you are cooking your pasta or gnocchi.

Scoop your pasta or gnocchi from the water and add to the butter and sage and mix well or toss if you can. 

Stir in your Parmesan and serve straightaway, simple.
